Tips & tricks for packages:
-You can send a package either by weight or the USPS has a Priority Mail international flat rate boxes. A small sized box up to 4lb is $24. A medium sized box is $60 and a large sized box is $80ish, both up to 20lbs. It’s expensive so you might want to try to find someone who loves me enough to pitch in! :)-Don’t send anything perishable. It’s going to take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to get to me. Even letters will take this long.
-Don’t mark the value of the package too high to avoid expensive custom fees
-For anything electronics or expensive looking, put it in a food box or disguise it if you can.
-Apparently the people at customs are less likely to open and/or steal packages if it looks religious. A lot of the PCVs here have packages arrived safely by doing so. You can pretend I’m a nun and write “Irmã Thanh Tam Thi Nguyen” and feel free to write/decorate the box with religious symbols/phrases
Things I'd love to receive (although anything would make me happy already!):
-Starbucks VIAs-Hot cheetos or hot fries
-Chocolate
-Candies
-Granola bars
-Powdered/liquid drink mixes (Mi0, crystal light)
-Multi-vitamins gummies

-Arts and crafts stuff (felt fabrics, acrylic paints, ribbons, yarns, form stickers)
-Scented candles
